Rhinolight^® Ltd. is a Szeged-based spin-off Hungarian SME, established in 2003 to utilize the patent of the Rhinolight^® phototherapeutic device. Rhinolight^® is the only clinically justified phototherapy for the treatment of allergic rhinitis. Its efficacy and safety have been proven by a number of articles published in international scientific journals. There are some 60 Rhinolight^® treatment centers in Hungary, while since 2004 the company has had an active export activity in 19 countries with the help of distribution partners and individual users.
In addition to already available indications, our most recent development is the dermatological application of Rhinolight^®, which is marketed as Skinolight^® in commercial use. The latest and really promising application of the Rhinolight^® phototherapy is the treatment of nasal polyps. The special tool developed for this purpose is currently being tested within the framework of our Hungarian clinical trial with the highest number of patients so far.
